 As a consultancy we have significant expertise in advising partners at both salaried and equity levels. Advice is provided on the complexities that arise when considering a move at this level including; package negotiations, restrictive covenants, followings, resignation procedures and notice periods.

In-house Lawyers 

 Lucas Love Legal have significant In-House deal experience, ranging from junior solicitors making their first move into the in-house market through to Corporate Counsel, Senior Counsel, Legal Director, Head of Legal to General Counsel.

 Working in-house is a different experience than working in private practice. It takes a certain type of person with very specific skills and commercial acumen. The emphasis is often on giving fast, practical and commercial advice which supports the aims of the business. We ensure that every individual involved in the recruitment process is aware of these facts.

We act on behalf of corporates, banks, financial institutions and other high profile organisations. These range from the in-house departments of FTSE 250 companies to companies looking to appoint their first in-house legal counsel. We provide advice on a whole range of areas relating to recruitment including salaries, market trends, department structure, location, job descriptions, moving from private practice to an in-house role and how to go about recruiting your first in-house lawyer.  

 Paralegals

 We cover the recruitment of paralegals, legal assistants, legal executives, contracts managers, commercial managers and non-qualified banking specialists for temporary, contract and permanent recruitment. Our Clients will usually require a minimum of six months’ paralegal experience.

 Secretaries

 Our consultants have specific knowledge of the legal secretary industry and through regular contact with a variety of law firms will enable you to find the right path to further your career. Whether it is your first legal secretary job or you are looking for your next challenge our consultants will provide guidance to support you during and after the recruitment process.
